It’s my Mom’s 60th birthday today and even when she is not with us anymore, I feel like celebrating this special day if only our budget permits. It’s already 4 years since her passing but Ella is still talking about her and how they spent time together cuddling. She even told me the other day that if she is still alive, there will be no problem who will take care of her and Eman when Daddy and Mommy are not around. Happy birthday Mamang Eling!!!! We love and miss you so much!
The Court of Appeals has issued a temporary restraining order on the 20-day suspension given by MTRCB’s on the talent show after Rosanna Roces’ nast remarks on teachers and also to her fellow judge, Vice Ganda.
This is what it says: “For reasons afore-stated, and as prayed for by petitioner, let a TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER be issued, as it is hereby issued, effective sixty (60) days from notice hereof, enjoining respondent MTRCB, including any and all persons acting in their behalf and under their command and authority, from continuing to enforce the Preventive Suspension Order dated January 11, 2010 issued against petitioner, pending the resolution of the instant petition.”
Yesterday morning, January 18, NBI raided Marlene Aguilar’s posh home along Hillside Drive in Blue Ridge A in Libis, Quezon City. Jason Ivler engaged NBI men in a shootout, which resulted in injuries to NBI Special Action Unit (SAU) head and lawyer Angelito Magno and NBI Intelligence Service agent Anna Labao. Jason Ivler faces more charges for his attack aside from the killing of a Malacañang official’s son.
I was surprised to hear it in the evening news the other night but I was working on something in the computer that I didn’t pay attention to it. On the headline, Kris yelled and made a scene infront of the house of Mayen Austria in Valle Verde 2 who is the alleged girlfriend of her husband James Yap. It’s not that I don’t care about it but I just ignored it because I don’t believe Kris will do that.
Even so I don’t believe Kris could carry out such act, I still want to know the story. Kris airs side on encounter with James’s rumored girlfriend and I believe her. Like she said, she’s 25 years in the showbiz industry and nobody can say that it is her nature to make a commotion. The girl said she is just talking to James as her fan and was heartbroken at that time. Even when she is a fan, I don’t think it is proper to be talking to a married man about such matter and I don’t think someone should be messing around with Kris (passing text messages that are all lies) because you can’t beat a woman with integrity. Stop it girl!
The Philippines and the United States of America has more than 100 years of love-hate relationship but there was no American envoy was spared of the occasional brickbats until the first female US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney.
She amazingly embraced the country’s culture and the people in her own special way that no other envoy did. She danced in a noontime show and the morning show of ABS-CBN, watched basketball games in Araneta Coliseum, visited MILF’s rebel camp and many others. They way she treated her staff really amazes me and I am wishing I could work for her too.
Watch this video of her exclusive interview with Cheche Lazaro aired just a while ago for the Probe Profiles. You will love her more! I did and I think she’s the greatest ambassador Philippines has and could have.
Showtime was given a 20-day suspension by Movie and Television Review Classification Board (MTRCB) because of nasty remarks of their guest judge Rossana Roces aka Osang towards teachers. I personally have watched that episode and I was disappointed but what is more disappointing is that the MTRCB’s decision of suspending the show. It is very unfair because ABS-CBN has already removed Osang from the list of the show’s judges right after the incident so what is the point of the suspension? I believe the views and opinions of the judges does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the show and the broadcasting network as a whole.
The day started just fine. Eman had his usual early bath and after setting him up for his morning nap, I started to wash the pre-soaked whites. I went out yesterday to do a little grocery shopping which is consisted mainly of laundry powder and fabric softener because I so wanted to to the laundry today. Since I don’t have any excuse now (Eman was already out in the world), I did the washing but Donald helped me with hanging in the clothesline because he knew I really really hate that job. It was already half past twelve when we had our lunch. Ella was always busy on her art works lately and she always ask me to buy her art pieces. I told her to keep them all and I will pay her on her birthday. Eman just slept the rest of the morning and I am glad he has outgrown the attitude of eating more than twelve times in 24 hours. Now I can do some chores and sit in the computer without holding him to nurse but he sure does showing some attitude! He would whine when he can’t get his sleep and if you can’t tell what he is crying for (if he’s hungry, wet or just wanted to get held), you would be as crazy as the daddy. Continue Reading »
Yesterday was a day to remember. Early morning we all prepared for Eman’s immunization at the public health center. When Ella was still a baby, Donald was always there with each visit to the clinic so to be fair, he needs to be there for Eman too. Since we don’t leave Ella to the care of the neighbors, she went with us holding the diaper bag for me. When we got there, there were too many mothers and babies on queue in three different lines. Since it’s our first time at the center, I have to ask for the procedure. It is so much faster in Kabacan because there weren’t too many babies there during Ella’s time and I am also privileged because I personally knew the midwives. Continue Reading »
Yesterday was Eman’s first visit at the park. He was not so pleased watching us enjoy the bags of chips and Sprite that I bought at the nearby grocery store.
